Canadian employment data
Canada employment data show unemployment rate fell from 8.3% to 8.2% , while 20.9K new jobs were created. USD/CAD fell to an intraday low of 1.0160 and is now correcting slightly to the upside, yet short lived. Some consolidation around this area could be seen, yet pair likely to continue losing ground under mentioned low. [...]

EUR/CHF: Bearish momentum persist
Despite being a slow intraday mover, pair has been in the highlights as continues bearish trend has sent the pair to test 13 months low early this European morning. The pair is clearly showing past 3 months weakness in Euro. Honestly, I don’t believe further SNB intervention could actually turn the trend. First intervention back [...]

Mixed US data
US Trade Balance printed a smaller deficit than expected -47.3B also less than previous months. However if my memory is not playing me tricks, “best” deficit of the last 6 years has been of around -25K so only under that value, we can talk of a real improvement in the deficit. Unemployment claims come under [...]

Gbp/Usd consolidating gains
Inflation expectatives, helped Pound to gain some ground, and is now consolidating around daily highs. 4 hours charts look pretty bullish at this point thus as expected, 1.5060 resistance area is keeping the upside capped. Pair could now pullback to the 1.5000/10 area, yet as long as those levels hold, a new upside rally is [...]

Eur/Usd, still seeking for direction
Pair has been moving in a 300 pips range since past February 17th, almost a month consolidating between the 50%Â retracement (1.3800) and the 61.8% (1.3485) of past year March/November bullish rally. Taking a look at this weekly chart, you will find out how strong indecision is: we have been opening and closing the past 5 [...]
