Forex Trading, The Ultimate Business

I have been investigating home based businesses since the eighties and have seen many interesting alternatives.  I have met many very successful Network Marketers and have been in at least 20 MLM companies myself.  I used to have a job in field service and whenever I visited an office that was in a person's home I would always ask the person what business she was in.  One young man who had a nice home in a ski resort town turned out to be a rep for a nose hair trimmer product.  One older couple who had a home overlooking the slopes in Breckenridge was in the business of selling stamps.  Prior to getting involved in Forex trading I tried a number of different businesses and was quite successful in real estate investing.  But I discovered that business has a tremendous amount of stress that they don't talk about on late night TV infomercials where the guru is interviewing his students sitting on a yacht wearing a hawaiian shirt. There are a lot of ways that people can make money legitimately but not all of them are desirable in terms of the amount of work and the amount of stress involved.

The first thing that kept me awake for several nights when I first learned about Forex trading was that I could finally ditch all my customers and clients to whom I was currently enslaved.   There are also no geographical boundaries in the Forex trading business so I could move to another location and/or travel the world while I do business.  There are no customers, no products, no selling of any kind other than clicking on the "sell" button when opening a position, no phone calls, no meetings, no MLM revival sessions, none of the stress involved in real estate transactions, and no convincing anyone of why they should choose me over my competitors.   My business is just me, my wireless laptop, and about 15 minutes of work twice a day.  And the returns vs. the investment of time and capital is far beyond anything I have seen including real estate investing.  I never cease to give thanks for the transformation that Forex trading has created in my life.
