When I see so many people struggling with Forex trading trying to finally break through the barriers that prevent them from getting consistent profit I can’t help but feel the desire to help. Trading takes some time, patience and experience but without certain knowledge it is not likely that most traders will ever get to the point where they see consistent increase in capital. When I first started trading several years ago I had a series of insights that seemed like common sense to me at the time. But when other traders saw what I was doing they considered it revolutionary. Since then I have had even more exciting breakthroughs in trading and I am glad to share them to help the trading community stop wasting so much time struggling with frustration and disappointment as the only result.
There are 2 things that happen when a trader begins learning the principles of Elliott Wave. First there is a new fascination and a sense of awe to discover that financial markets are always forming patterns of trends followed by corrections. The waves of trends and corrections subdivide into smaller patterns on shorter time frames while any patterns are also part of a larger pattern. It ‘s like a fractal universe where every world is part of a larger world and inside of each world there is a smaller universe. In Taoist wisdom humans are seen as a microcosmic universe inside the macrocosm. The second thing that happens is a decrease in profit and higher percentage of losing trades.
Have you seen the trailer for the movie, Eat Pray Love? It’s the latest film starring Julia Roberts which I am anxious to see, by the way. What caught my attention is when Robert’s character was putting all her stuff in a self-storage unit after she lost her house. In the last few years, self storage units have become an excellent investment because everyone needs an extra space to store their possessions such as household goods, boats, wine, cars, junk–you name it. People in developed countries like the U.S. have become collectors of junk that they don’t need but are unwilling to get rid of. Plus storage units are used by people relocating or in transition such as while a new house is under construction. Some people run businesses out of storage units. I have seen people working in storage units repairing office machines or picking up stock for their pharmaceutical sales business. Whatever the reason investors have found, “If you build it they will come”. The units are filled quickly if you research the market and build in the right place.
There is one privately owned organization calling itself Federal that has supreme power over the value of currency in the U.S. When Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke speaks he has the power to cause immediate buying and selling in the Forex trading market not just in the U.S. but all over the world. It makes you wonder what is behind that immense power and what this organization is really all about. How and why was it formed? What the real purpose and mission of the Federal Reserve?
